Makayla's 1st black eye!!!

Shelby gave Makayla her 1st black eye:) They were playing in the living room and Shelby set Kay on the couch then turned around to get the toy for Kay and Kay took a face dive off the couch:) She is all better now but here are pictures of her 1st black eye!!!!

1st big snow!!

OK so its the end of March and we just got our 1st big snow:) here are some pictures of it we got at least 8 in. but it blew so its in drifts that are about 4 ft tall also:) Yes that's Shelby's jeep that's covered!!!!

Basketball

Nathanial Played basketball again this weekend. They played in Roy N.M. Thursday night and Saturday Afternoon. Thursday night the boys lost 22 - 2. They should have played again Saturday at 9 am but the other team forfeited so they won that one with out ever steping on the court. This moved them into a game at 1 Saturday afternoon. The boys had a great game but lost 11-4. Our team has k-4th grade while the other teams are all 3rd & 4th graders but even with the size deference the boys had sooooo much fun. They get out there and play there hearts out and they try to make lots of goals but most of them hit the bottom of the rim:)

Ok guys its been a while since I posted anything but we have been so busy. The kids are having a great time here. Shelby is growing soooo fast she loves school still and has made friends. Makayla is almost walking well she is walking everywhere if she can hold on to something. And then there is Nathanial he has really changed since we moved he is soooooooooooo out going he loves doing stuff here. he liked going to the football games back in Memphis but he never really got excited about going like he does when there is a home game here. He is playing basketball and has his 1st game today. He said he did not want to play the day he got the sign up form and then he came home the next day saying he wanted to play. When I asked him why he changed his mind he said the other kids wanted him to play and was really excited so we signed him up. I talked to his teacher a week or so later and she was telling me that the other boys asked him to play and he told them no that they did not want him on there team because if he was then they would loose because he was not any good at basketball . but the boys told him it did not matter if they won or lost they just wanted to have fun and they wanted him to play. Now i know why he wanted to play and he really is having a great time. We have made lots of cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats and tried to make fried pies for the concession stand and I am working it as needed today and from 7am - 11am tomorrow. The concession stand is in the cafeteria at the school and they have an area set up where the younger kids can play and watch movies while the older kids play ball or while the parents work in the concession stand. I guess what I am trying to say is that everything is really family involved and is for the whole family not like most things are where you are expected to help with stuff but you have to have a babysitter first:) ok I thought I had posted this last week so it is a little old.

Hello World :)

Ok guys we are finally getting settled into our new home. We now have our phone and internet up and going. Our New address is 15 N. 5th P.O. Box 162 Mosquero NM 87733 our phone # is 575-673-1431. I am keeping my same e-mail address Felicity.bowman@yahoo.com and Nathanial now has one that is nathanial2000@hotmail.com. The kids are loving it here they both really like the school and have made friends. Nathanial came home last Wednesday and asked if he could go to a birthday party for one of the kids in his class. I was really surprised since he had just been in school 2 days but after he gave us the invitation I called and talked to this girls Mom and found out that all the kids in his class were going and that there teacher was taking them all to the Basket Ball game after the party so we let him go. When I took him to the party it was out at a ranch about 20miles from town and there were about 25 kids there but several came out to get Nathanial. I stayed and visited for about 30 min. to make sure he was ok. He was having a ball, I guess I was worried for no reason. When I picked him up from the ball game he told me that he was really glad we had moved here and i asked why his reply was because everyone is really nice here and they all want to be my friend, can Kade stay the night with us? I am really glad to see him making friends but no sleep overs yet at least not until we get all these boxes put away:) Shelby is going to school 2 days a week and its been a fight on the other days because she wants to go also but shes getting the hang of it. This morning I had her all ready to go and told Nathanial to go brush his teeth and he told me there was no tooth paste so I went to find it and there was none. When I asked if he knew where it was Shelby chimed in with "I know where it is" so I asked her where is your tinker bell or bubba's walli tooth past and she said "in my back pack I'm taking it to school with me":) she was soooo cute I had to just laugh and then I made her put it up. She is really growing up, they all are. Well I need to run but hope you are all doing good. We are leaving tomorrow for Chris's wedding and will be back Sunday so I will post more then.

moving now

ok guys we found out tonight that we will be moving this weekend:) Carl D's company is loaning us a moving trailer. Carl D has to be there Monday morning for work so we will leave here Friday night with our stuff. I know some are mad because we are moving but I really think this is what God has planed for us. I dont know when we will get our internet up and going so this may be my last blog for a couple of weeks. HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFULL CHRISTMAS:)
