Dsl finally:)

Ok so its been a while since I have posted any thing because we have not had internet. A lot has been going on since I was on here last!

Let see we have been working around here trying to get it all fixed up!

We built a new fence around the back yard and got 3 pups in May. We went to get the kids one and some how ended up with the last 3 in the litter. Carl D & Makayla got the black and white one who's name is Maggie, Nathanial got the brown and white one who he named Marlie after the movie Marley and me & last but not least Shelby got the brown one who looks like the german Sheppard and named her Charlie.

A couple of days before we got the Dogs our neighbor gave us 3 cats and 3 kittens. When we opened the cage the black one got loose and was gone and the Tom cat hangs around the barn. The kittens were only 3 days old so we brought the momma cat and the babies to the house and were keeping them in the garage but a few days later the momma cat disappeared so we bottle feed the kittens for 4 weeks and then started them on soft food and have finally got them on dry food and back down at the barn:)

Then Nathanial got 2 sheep named Zack and Cody. These are his 4 h project and he will show them the 1st full weekend in August.

When we went to Texas a couple of weeks ago I asked a guy if he had any Gennie's for sale and he said no but he knew where there were some. So I told him if he went and got some for himself I might want some. He showed up a couple of ours later and had a bunch of 1 day old chicks I bought 6 but had no clue what I was getting into:) We now o have 2 left and they are getting bigger.

And finally we got Carl D's horse Gus up here and Billy D gave the kids a horse named cricket.

So yes after just 2 months we are really getting a ranch going all we need now are our caves and we should get them in the fall!

Makayla's 1st black eye!!!

Shelby gave Makayla her 1st black eye:) They were playing in the living room and Shelby set Kay on the couch then turned around to get the toy for Kay and Kay took a face dive off the couch:) She is all better now but here are pictures of her 1st black eye!!!!

1st big snow!!

OK so its the end of March and we just got our 1st big snow:) here are some pictures of it we got at least 8 in. but it blew so its in drifts that are about 4 ft tall also:) Yes that's Shelby's jeep that's covered!!!!
